DPCCC General Membership Meeting (Members)

Generally
3rd Thursday of the month at 7 PM

via ZOOM
For the next meeting date, see calendar.contracostadems.com.

The Democratic Party of CCC (DPCCC) is the voice of over 340,000 registered Democrats in Contra Costa County.  We support issues that protect the safety net for working families, children, immigrants, our seniors, LGBTQ community and those that have been disenfranchised by institutional racism and discrimination. We speak out when we see injustice. We are dedicated volunteers working with our allies to elect Democrats, pass effective legislation and empower our democratic clubs and community to take action. Our job as Democrats requires a multi-faceted approach. At the national, state and local level, we must work to undo the damage caused by the former Trump Administration. Locally, we must Build our Party by registering voters, support grass-roots organizing efforts, empower our Democratic Clubs, and Get Out the Vote (GOTV).

Committee Meetings

With the exception of the Executive Committee, Finance Committee, or as otherwise designated in the Bylaws, all interested members are eligible to apply for membership in all committees.  All Regular or Associate Members in good standing my be appointed by the committee chair to fully participate in the committee meetings, including the right to make motions and to vote.

The volunteer activism committee promotes and supports activities led by other clubs and groups to harness the power of Contra Costa activists to help Democrats win elections. We partner with the Bay Area Coalition, utilizing people-powered strategies to turn out the vote: phone banking, voter registration, and canvassing. Our target districts are the California Central Valley, Arizona, Nevada, and special elections. To support volunteers, we also provide speaker series, training sessions, and messaging library.
